He Lives

I woke up with not one but two hymns on my heart this morning, "Because He Lives", and "He Lives". First off, I want to say thank you Lord for being you. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins and for the sins of everyone else. Thank you for being raised from the dead after being buried 3 days in the tomb! What a miracle in and of itself. But no matter what the situation is, I always turn to the Lord in the end. The lyrics say "needing a friend to help me in the end, where could I go but to the Lord?" I think we all struggle with going to the Lord first about everything. Sometimes our humanistic reasoning gets the best of us, and we think about how to handle it without involving God, but in the end we realize that we can't do it on our own! We need the Lord, our God.      Last night, as I was driving home listening to some Christian music (lik
